ABOUT CHRIS Captain Chris Turner leads the Axten team. Over a 45-year aviation career, he has held several senior management roles, including Chief Pilot and Operations Director at a major UK airline. Chris brings international experience in pilot recruitment, selection, and training, as well as expertise in technical and operational matters. Chris is a current Boeing 787 Dreamliner Examiner and Instructor, and has worked as a training pilot for over 35 years. He has been an expert witness since 2013, is the only aviation expert certified by the Expert Witness Institute, and was recently elected as a Governor of the Institute.
